Declaration according to § 289f German Commercial Code (HGB)
As of June 30, 2017, the management of Esprit Europe GmbH had a 12.5% share of women and thus failed to achieve the 20% target set on September 30, 2015. The reason for this was the departure of a managing director from the management board due to the transfer of functions to another Group company.
The 25% (2nd management level) and 30% (3rd management level) of women determined for the other management levels were clearly exceeded at 66.67% (2nd management level) and 40% (3rd management level) as of June 30, 2017.
The target figures for the proportion of women in management positions to be achieved by 30 June 2022 at the latest were defined by the management of Esprit Europe GmbH as follows: 20% (management), 25% (2nd management level) and 30% (3rd management level).
