Esprit introduces Charity Day

Supporting important social causes has always been a part of Esprit’s DNA. To take the next step into making a difference, Esprit has introduced the volunteer program Esprit Charity Day for Esprit employees to contribute.

Making a difference
The concept is simple yet powerful: Every employee at Esprit may take a paid day off in order to volunteer at a local charity or a charity of choice. With this initiative, employees are encouraged to give back and raise awareness for social topics. “At Esprit we don’t just talk, but we take action to make a difference. I think it’s time for us at Esprit to all help out, make the world a better place and bring joy to others”, says CEO Anders Kristiansen.

Esprit Charity Day around the world
Esprit employees may volunteer individually or as a group and are also welcome to organize a group or team building event around their Charity Day. Esprit’s office in Copenhagen, Denmark already joined the initiative on July 2, 2019 and spent a day on the streets of Copenhagen. Together with the NGO Doctors Without Borders, the team informed people about the importance of vaccinations.
Even Esprit’s license team in Asia got together to help those in need. For one day the team supported the initiative Food Angel in Hong Kong – a food rescue and food assistance program by the Bo Charity Foundation. Together they helped to prepare more than 2000 dinner boxes, which were distributed to elderly homes in Hong Kong.
The Esprit Charity Day is part of Esprit Cares, the company’s initiative dedicated to charitable purposes.
