Environmental Sustainability

Making fashionable clothing requires many different production processes. Many of these processes, such as dying, printing and washing can have negative impacts on the environment and need to be managed in the most responsible and sustainable way possible. But also in the Use phase and End of Use, a product has a great impact on the environment.

Environmental Sustainability Lifecycle

In times of climate change, heavy pollution and water scarcity we all have to rethink how we do things and find solutions to preserve our planet. We have analyzed and monitored our supply chain for several years to identify areas where we need to improve manufacturing processes. Ensuring a sustainable business also means ensuring a safe product range. Therefore, the use of chemicals in the manufacturing process of our products is a high priority and constant focus at Esprit. We work with external agencies to identify chemicals of concern and apply the precautionary principle in our evaluation.
