Esprit’s support for a „Caritas Germany“ emergency aid project

For the third wish from the Philippines, Esprit teamed up with Caritas Germany – International Department: “I wish I could give food to the poor this Christmas so they can also enjoy Christmas eve.“ In the wake of the devastating tropical storm “Washi” in late 2011, many inhabitants of the island nation lost their home — a place that represents safety, security, and family celebrations like Christmas. To make the wish of a carefree Christmas come true, Esprit sponsors the construction of 30 emergency shelters in the significantly affected region around Iligan City. Together with Caritas Germany and a local partner organization, many families will receive a secure home.
