Summer of Colours: first Esprit Beachwear range with recycled nylon
The Esprit Women Beachwear line for May is inspired by the feel of a perfect day by the sea. It embodies lust for life – and is both natural and linked to nature. Infused with a positive attitude to life and love for our shared home. This applies as much to the bikini and shorts as it does to the linen shirt and swimsuit. The soul of Esprit yearns for nature, which is also reflected in the new Beachwear range.
Esprit is one of the first labels to produce a beachwear line, using new recycled nylon. The innovative elastane/polyamide mix, with a proportion of polyamide that comprises up to 70% recycled nylon, has been developed by Esprit in cooperation with an Italian manufacturer.
For the May line 2012, Esprit presents the new material in bright and clear summer colours, such as red, pink, corn yellow, Malibu blue and cool shadow black. With a total of three ranges, the bikini and swimwear line includes South Seas inspired floral and fresh stripe prints, as well as a number of models in plain colours.
For Spring/Summer 2012, Esprit inspires with naturalness.
The Esprit Beachwear line with recycled nylon will be available in Europe and Asia from May 2012. Special labels indicate the future-oriented mix of materials.
With the new Beachwear line, the brand showcases another part of its identity, having combined
Californian attitude to life with a sense of social and environmental responsibility ever since it was
founded in 1968.
